Delivery and ordering
Bollards and wheel stops delivered Australia-wide
Short answer: SafeWise delivers to any Australian postcode. Send an enquiry, and we reply with a written quote showing the unit price for your quantity, freight to your postcode and, for pre-order lines, an expected landing date. Nothing is committed until you confirm. Melbourne pickup is by arrangement.
Buying bollards or wheel stops online should not mean guessing the freight. Here is how ordering works, what affects the freight, how long a pre-order takes and what to put in your enquiry.

How it works
How to order bollards online in Australia
We are a Melbourne-based importer supplying the trade, so the process is a quote, not a shopping cart. That keeps freight accurate and lets us price your actual quantity.
-
1. Send an enquiry
Use the enquiry form or email info@safewiseaustralia.com. Give the products, quantity and delivery postcode. We aim to reply within one business day.
-
2. Get a written quote
The quote shows the unit price for your quantity, freight to your postcode and an expected landing date for any pre-order lines. Prices are quoted ex GST and ex freight unless stated.
-
3. You confirm
Nothing is committed until you say yes. If the freight or the landing date does not suit, you can walk away or change the order.
-
4. Stock lands and ships
In-stock items go out from Melbourne. Pre-order items go out once the container lands and clears customs, and we tell you when that happens.
Freight
Freight is quoted per job
Freight goes to any Australian postcode and is quoted for each job. It is the biggest variable in the delivered price, because steel is heavy. Three things move it:
- Weight. Bollards and wheel stops weigh from about 9.5kg to 17.5kg each, so a pallet adds up quickly.
- Quantity. One enquiry for the whole job gives one freight line, usually better than several small shipments.
- Postcode and access. Where the delivery goes, and whether the site has a forklift or tail-lift.
We do not publish freight rates or transit times, because they depend on all three. The figure is on your quote before you commit.
Melbourne pickup
If you are near Melbourne, pickup is by arrangement and the quote is without freight. We do not run a showroom, so tell us when you enquire and we confirm the details on the quote. See bollards in Melbourne.
Trade and volume
Our prices are per-unit starting points and improve at pallet and container volume. For larger jobs, see trade and bulk supply.
Lead time
In stock or pre-order: how long does it take?
Bollard storage holders are in stock in Melbourne now. Bollards and wheel stops are pre-order on the next container. Factory production typically takes 15–20 days, plus sea freight and customs clearance. We give an expected landing date on your quote.
The timeline in plain steps:
- Enquiry and quote, usually within a business day of your enquiry.
- You confirm the order and the landing date.
- Factory production, typically 15–20 days.
- Sea freight, then customs clearance.
- Stock lands in Melbourne, then pickup or freight to your postcode.
If your job has a fixed start date, tell us the needed-by date. If a pre-order will not land in time, we will say so on the quote rather than promise it.
Estimate your load
Weight per unit
Use these to estimate a load before you enquire. Multiply by your quantity and allow extra for packaging.
| Product | Weight per unit |
|---|---|
| Removable Bollard 90mm (SW-RB90) | About 9.5kg |
| Removable Bollard 140mm (SW-RB140) | About 13.5kg |
| Fixed Bollard 90mm (SW-FB90) | About 9.5kg |
| Fixed Bollard 140mm (SW-FB140) | About 17.5kg |
| Rubber Wheel Stop 1650mm (SW-WS1650) | About 12kg |
| Storage Holders 90mm and 140mm (SW-SL90, SW-SL140) | Ask us for the weight of your quantity |
For example, 20 removable 90mm bollards are about 190kg (20 × 9.5kg) before packaging. Weights are approximate and from our spec sheets.
What to send
What to put in your enquiry
The more of these you give us, the fewer follow-up questions and the sooner the quote.
Quote checklist
- Delivery postcode. Freight is priced from it.
- Products and quantity. Sizes, and how many of each.
- Residential or commercial. It can change how the delivery is handled.
- Forklift or tail-lift access. Say whether the site can unload a pallet.
- Needed-by date. So we can say whether a pre-order lands in time.
Sample enquiry
“Hi, I need 20 removable 90mm bollards and 20 storage holders delivered to postcode 2000, for a commercial car park. We have a forklift on site and need them by mid-December. Could you send a written quote with freight and the landing date?”

Service area
Where we deliver
We deliver Australia-wide: metro and regional postcodes in every state and territory, quoted per job. We are based in Melbourne and land our stock here, so Victorian jobs are simplest, but a Perth or Darwin job is quoted the same way. We supply only and do not install. Our terms are in terms and privacy, and the full range is on the products page.
SafeWise bollards are safety and delineation bollards, not crash-rated or impact-tested. Wheel stops are for car park bays. If you are not sure what suits your site, a guide on the guides page is a good place to start.
FAQs
Delivery and ordering questions
Do you deliver to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide?
Yes. We freight to any Australian postcode, including Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin and regional areas. Freight is quoted per job from weight, quantity and postcode, and shows as its own line on your written quote.
Is there a minimum order?
No hard minimum order. Freight is a bigger share of the cost on a small order, so putting everything on one enquiry usually works out better than several small ones.
How long does a pre-order take?
Bollards and wheel stops are pre-order on the next container. Factory production typically takes 15 to 20 days, plus sea freight and customs clearance. We give an expected landing date on your quote, and nothing is committed until you confirm. Storage holders are in stock now.
Can I pick up in Melbourne?
Yes, by arrangement. Tell us on your enquiry that you would like to collect and we will quote without freight. We confirm the pickup details on your quote.
Do you install?
No. SafeWise is supply only. Your own team or a contractor of your choice installs, using the spec sheets and installation guides.
