No. SafeWise bollards are safety and delineation bollards: 3mm-wall carbon steel posts that mark boundaries and deter cars at parking speed from areas they shouldn't enter. They are not impact-tested or certified to hostile-vehicle standards such as PAS 68 or IWA 14, and they are not ram-raid or forklift barriers. Yes. Our listed prices are indicative per-unit starting points as at October 2026, exclusive of GST and freight. We confirm final pricing, including any bulk discount, in writing on your quote.

Yes. We arrange freight to any Australian postcode, quoted per job by weight and destination, and pickup from Melbourne can also be arranged.

No. SafeWise is supply only: we provide the product, spec sheets and installation guides, and your own team or a qualified contractor carries out the install. See our install guide for the process.

A qualified installer or concreter can install them. Removable bollards need a core-drilled hole or a cast-in socket, and fixed bollards are drilled and anchored into the slab. Give your contractor the spec sheet and our removable bollard install guide (or fixed bollard install guide) and ask for a fixed price per bollard. Locate underground services with Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) first, and check whether council consent or owners corporation approval applies. Each removable bollard is supplied complete with its own in-ground socket, key-lock mechanism and keys. Fixed bollards include the base plate for surface mounting. A bolt-down storage holder is available as an optional accessory. Installation hardware (anchors, grout, fixings) is not included. See the specifications table for what to order alongside.

Removable bollards come with their own key-locked in-ground socket, so they can be unlocked and lifted out for vehicle access, then dropped back in and locked. Fixed bollards are permanently bolted down through a surface base plate and don't come out. They suit locations that need permanent delineation with no access requirement.

Our fixed bollards start at $80 (90mm) and $110 (140mm), and our removable key-lock bollards at $120 (90mm) and $140 (140mm), per unit, ex GST and freight. A clear gap of roughly 1000 to 1200mm between bollards is a common starting point where pedestrians and wheelchairs need to pass but cars shouldn't. Keep the clear gap under about 1500mm if the aim is to keep cars out.
